1. On-going Traffic – create on-going traffic through Pay Per Click, article writing, video publishing, social sites, blogging…
2. Capture Pages – drive the on-going traffic to your unique capture pages that promote you as a leader.  This is also known as Branding – think of Donald Trump or Tiger Woods or someone you work with who has a reputation for doing good or bad work.  They’ve all branded themselves – specific characteristics come to mind when you think of them.  Brand your self in a way that makes people want to join you in whatever you are doing.
3. List Building – capture email addresses (that’s they the call it a capture page) and start following up with prospects via your email autoresponder.  Send them information that will help them build their business.  Include links to products they can buy that will help streamline their education or services they can use to advertise their new, custom capture pages.
4. Cash Flow – by including links to useful products or services in your emails you will make money.  If you do it correctly the money you make can cover the cost of doing any paid advertising so you are actually making a profit from your advertising before anybody even joins your business.  This is the key to staying in business until your residual MLM money kicks in.
5. Duplicatable System – set up a system that your recruits can copy.  In this case “recruits” means anybody who joined your list.  It doesn’t matter if they joined your opportunity.

That’s it.  Keep it simple.  Do you know who made the most money in the Gold Rush?  The people who sold the tools to the people looking for gold.  Your emails sell great tools to gold diggers and also position you as an expert.  Lots of people like to do business with experts.
